    How PNG and SVG differ

    PNG is easy to use on phones and in messaging or design apps. It can look pixelated when enlarged. SVG is a vector format better suited to large prints or further editing. This generator converts the letters to paths, so the recipient does not need the same font. Use PNG if your app does not support SVG.

    Common uses for cursive lettering

    Cursive emphasizes the flow and connections between letters. This tool creates font-based designs for birthday cards, invitations, gift tags, welcome signs, and name labels. For handwriting instruction, explore the separate stroke guide; a decorative font does not define a universal stroke order.

    How to choose a cursive style

    Try rounded Pacifico or Cookie for a friendly card, or Great Vibes and Pinyon Script for an ornamental invitation. Compare Dancing Script, Allura, Satisfy, and Tangerine with the same words. Check the capital letters, descending strokes, and readability at the final print size before downloading.

    Frequently asked questions

    Which characters are supported?

    These fonts primarily support Latin letters. Some familiar Japanese greetings are translated into English, but this is not a general translation service. Unsupported characters, such as some emoji or other scripts, show a message and disable downloads to avoid an incorrect result. Try English or Latin letters instead.

    What happens to long text?

    Single line reduces the type size to fit where possible. Very long lines can be scrolled within the preview, while the download includes the full design. Wrap text keeps manual line breaks and wraps at word boundaries. Fixed output presets fit the design inside the selected canvas.

    Is my text stored publicly?

    No public text gallery is created. My Words is stored only in this browser. Anyone with a share link can read the text inside it. Older query-based links may appear in server access logs; current fragment links can still remain in browser history and with the people you share them with.

    Can I use the tools offline?

    After an online visit finishes offline setup, the main tools and image downloads can work without a connection. Ads and contact submissions require a network. Limited device storage or clearing the browser cache may require another online visit.

    Font and image usage information

    Check your rights to the words, trademarks, or other material in your design. The eight bundled fonts come from Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License or Apache License. Generated images may be used for personal and commercial projects, but this does not guarantee trademark rights. Redistributing the font files has separate license conditions.
